What about all of the E. Coli and salmonella outbreaks that have been directly linked to major produce companies that use GMO's?
What about all of the people in LDC's? You know, the ones that are starving to death? Are they getting enough food because of GMO's? I thought not.
Not physically threatened, but the government threatens to take away their jobs.
The only reason they're considered safe in other countries is because they actually have laws that limit GMO's. We don't have that in America, so companies can basically put whatever they want in our food without getting in trouble, which can have serious consequences.
GMO's are extremely dangerous to the consumer, the animals, and the environment. They increase the use of dangerous chemicals on the the environment, they can have negative side effects on the crops, and they're completely unhealthy. Not to mention that the animals are ill-treated and anyone who tries to find problems with GMO's are threatened.
